vonneumann pursues free-form compositions defying typical song-writing schemes through a complex mixture of radical improvisation and written riffs, through extreme forms of irony (often bordering with pure disinformation), through stubborn electronics and massive doses of processing, both in real-time and in post-production.
vonneumann’s approach is fully DIY: we usually do everything by ourselves, from compositions and arrangements, to learning how to play new instruments or coding stuff (when necessary), the audio mixing and mastering, all the graphics, writing useless stuff on websites and newsletters, and so on.
